I was working at 7 am today. I reached my workplace at 6.38am. Gladdys was working in the moring. She was supposed to work in the afternoon but she changed shift with Li He who thinks that she may not be able to wake up. I was at counter 6 and i thought i could slack at counter 6 like before. However, there is a slight problem. All the five register inside the NTUC was not working and the customers had to pay at 2 register which is outside. Practically, the inside looks empty. Gladdys took the most customers as she operated at conter 7 which is just right outside the NTUC while mine still need a short distance. I asked some of the customers to come over to my register and pay. Her counter had some customers rushing her. I feel the customers are inconsiderate. If she give the wrong change, who is the person responsible for it? It will be Gladdys unless the customer will take care of the wrong change, i think Gladdys will clear the queue very fast. Mine was rather ok. In the end, we had to stand at the front line for 2 freaking hours. The main reason the 5 register were not working is they are all short circuit except for the 2 register outside. In the morning, i discovered the NETs machine for 4 counter was not working. I notified the supervisor and i went to opened my counter. 5 minutes later, i saw one of the auntie came out and said she helped me to pack. I asked her why and she replied the 5 counters inside is experiencing technical problem. For moment, it working fine. THEN GOT PROBLEM. After the 2 hours, i was in a shock. After a while, i was alright. First time in my life, i do things this fast before. It was like fast motion cartoon. Because of the rush, i short 4.55 cents. Damm tired. stop here for now == Zzz

Today was VERY SUCKY. Everything was alright. One customer i gave him 2 5 cents and he don't want it. He wanted the 10 cents coin. It slightly got on my nerves and later, i felt alright. Right after this customer, another customer claimed that he queued first in the line WHEN I CAN'T EVEN SEE THE ******* LINE. I served the other customer and then served him. I was very irriated already. I made a major mistake earlier on. This particular customer bought 2 carton of marigold drinks. I accidentally scanned the smaller pack in the carton. The actual price was supposed to be 6.70 bucks but i scanned in 1.90 bucks. I asked the customer to wait as i called the supervisor. The supervisor was held up by some matters. He was kind of impatient and took off the goods. After he left, the supervisor came and i asked him to void the sales. So now, he took the goods unpaid. He said he will come back to pay the actual amount. In the end, he didn't turn up. At that point of time, i really felt that i am a ******* B******. I was really stupid to go trust that guy. Then i holded a transaction which the customer claimed to pay later, the worst part is that i lost the stupid receipt. I was very frustrated after all these crap. Buch of A******, F****** RETARDED CUSTOMER WHO CHEAT PEOPLE'S TRUST. I was very disappointed in myself. Surendar and other promoter was there as well. Then Gladdys, Wen Hui and Jin Xiang came back to NTUC around 10 plus. I was cold towards them and i am really sorry about that. I had no mood to joke with them. SORRY GUYS >< In the end, i had excess 8 bucks because of the sales void. I told Adin. If i have to compesate, it will 13.40 bucks. Sigh~ I really hated this day.

After knowing that i am going to work all the way till 24 Jan 2009, i felt tired and exhausted. In terms of mentally, i felt tired. It was alright as it was evened out like i work on alternate shifts. I was feeling sad when i know my friends working in NTUC are going to leave soon. Wen Hui applied for JC. Most of us working in the NTUC applied for Polytechnic and so, we are working till the school term starts. I was hoping to work on weekend to earn a bit of money. Wen Hui is going to stop working at 25 Jan 2009 i think. Unfortunately, i am oversea with my mother. Wrong timing... Work was like weight lifting session. Most of the customers bought drinks. I had long queue most of the time. I slacked 5 minutes later customer come. I decided not to slack as I ONLY GET TO SLACK FOR LIKE 5 MINUTES OR MORE. I think that i can get some exercises from work. The drinks can act as weights. I got Zi Qi's float. Her float was alright except for the 5 cents. It had lots of 5 cents. I accidentally dropped a 20 cent coin in the gap between the desk and the wall. I told Adin the only supervisor at 6am. He managed to get it out. I checked the cashier book and found out that i working at counter 6. I am also the first cashier to reach NTUC this morning. I sat at the counter and i was going to fall asleep. I really felt sad that Wen Hui is leaving. She may drop by and buy things and then i charge special service charges. MUHAHAHA I not so bad. Anyway, i worked at counter 6 2 times in a row. I should be working inside tomorrow as i am working in the afternoon which is less tiring as compared to morning. I wish my friend Wen Hui all the best for her studies. I also heard that one more cashier is leaving and i am still looking answer for that. All good thing coming to an end soon.. Just submitted my application for polytechnic courses. I had a mixed feeling when i am filling up the application form. Just in case anyone is curious.... These are the courses i appiled for:

-Molecular Biotechnology
-Molecular Biotechnology
-Biomedical Engineering
-Pharmaceutical Science
-Biologic &Process Technology
-Nanotechnology & Material Science
-Chemical & Green Technology
-Hospitality & Resort Management
-Aerospace System
-Manufacturing Engineering
-Digital & Precision Engineering
-Telematics & Media

I applied either for Nanyang Polytechnic or Ngee Ann Polytechnic since there is a straight bus to these two polytechnic. I am kind of lazy to go polytechnic located places like DOVER. I am very interested in Science so the first 2 course is a must get in course for me. Now, let's shift the focus on today's work. Work was fine though ending can be scary. I was at counter 3 and before i take over, Wen Hui was taking it. Counter 6 was taken by Li He and Gladdys. There is lots of customer giving me 50 bucks to change. I was cursing them. Within one hour, my 2 bundles of 10 bucks was gone. I went to the office to change for another 2 bundle thinking that customer will give me 50 bucks to change. It did not happen. After i changed, the customer gave me 10 bucks to change. Life is so unpredictable... I took Li He's float today and it short of 1 bucks. Her float is great as it had a packet of 40 bucks worth of one bucks coins. Next time PLEASE DON'T OPEN THE COINS. Tomorrow i was supposed to resting at home but one auntie wanted to change with me. I agreed and i am working at 3.30 pm tomorrow. I am having no leaves until 24th. I had straight 2 days off and 3 public holiday. There is a reason for this. I am going to Malaysia from 24th to 27th of Jan. I kind of switching my resting days order. Well, it's not too bad as there are balanced morning and afternoon shift. I mean not straight morning shift all the way. I will sure die xP When packing up, i counted my float and my sales. Apparently, i used the wrong equation the calculate my sales and it resulted in shortage of 199.95 bucks(nice number?). Then i recounted again and it was correct. Then the auntie asked me i minus how much and that is when i realised i used the wrong equation. In the end, i had excess 5 cents. Sigh~ Tomorrow is my dad's death anniversary... I will stop here for now. ==Zzz

I worked at counter 6 today. Actually, i agreed to let Wen Hui take counter 6. I reached there earlier and I did not see the Wen Hui was there. So i took the counter 6. I am very sorry about that >< It was not really slacky over there. There is a period of time the queue was long. It was due to a customer as i forgot the number to press for "J". At first, i thought of voiding the sales and asking the customer to pay inside. I called Adin and instead i asked him to check for me. He told the wrong number and went in to check. This time he got it right. The period he was checking, i had the queue extend all the way back to the tentage. I was a bit panicky. This was the mistake i think i made it. After i settled the queue, i was stoning. I was thinking about the results and what course to take. Then Wen Hui came, she was having break. I paused from stoning and after she left, i continued to stone... I was also starving. I had 2 slice of bread for breakfast. Then a customer came to refund for a pack of tissue. She bought yesterday and today she want to refund. Adin did the refund for me. After the customer left, he told what he think of customers like that. Seriously speaking, ADIN IS A EXTREMELY FUNNY PERSON. Then after that, it was slacky all the way to 2pm when Li He took over me. I short of 10 bucks today. EXACTLY 10 BUCKS!!! OH COME ON!!! I am really sick and tired of this. I am so going to go slow when counting money. I guess this is the precaution i can take for now. The teacher on charge for NCC worte on my wall in facebook," Hey have faith in yourself!! You can do it!! I have confidence in you!!". I am glad that the teacher asked me to go for the officer course but i have my own doubts. From Secondary 1 to 4, a lot of things had happened. I used to think that i am suitable for the officer course but after what had happened, the thoughts of that slowly getting tarnish bit by bit. I cannot really forgive myself for making these mistake till now. I am not the person who get all the advantages and forget about repaying back. I want to repay but i can't overcome this mental obstacle. My mind is in a whirl. Sigh~

I received a call from NTUC. It appears that one of my customer forgot to take his chocolate like yesterday and the day before yesterday. He came back to take it but there is no record. This was my fault. I left the chocolate on the desk in the office but i forgot to record. That day was the second time i short of money and that chocolate slipped out of my mind. I felt really bad. I caused trouble to the staff.

I got back my result. It was not too bad. I had 2 A's, 4 B's and one C's. For LI1R4, i got 13 points and for L1R5, i get 16 points. I was expecting around 15 or more as I thought i messed up with some of the subject like Geography and English. For English, i thought i will get a C for it. I did not write the least expected number of words and may wrote out of point. I studied Geography last minute and so is Social Studies. I got a B for combined humantites. I got a A for Combined Science Physic and Chemistry. I felt the science practical was kind of screwed up especially the chemistry practical. There were 201 courses offered and i am still considering. I am looking into the chemical engineering course. After i got back the result, i thanked the teachers who taught me before. I met into my NCC teacher in charge, she asked me if i am interested to come back and help the school unit as CLT officer. I did not straight away give her a answer as there are somethings i had to consider. There are some personal reason as well. There were some problems when i was in Secondary 2 and 3. Because of that, that questioned me "Am i even qualified to be a leader?". I used to be very passionate about NCC. It seemed that i had lost that passion... What do i want really? I am still figuring out... In search for an answer...

Again, history repeats again. I short 9.70 bucks today. I think it maybe the time where i had to give the customer change but i don't have the exact change so i had to give like lots of 2 bucks of 5 bucks instead. That period of time i have a higher chance of making errors. I have gave out all my coins and this actually happened to me. I felt like a crap. I really hate this crap... When i first opened a counter, i had excess 20 bucks. Now, i had negative amounts. It's like pay back time for "eating" the customers money. Nothing really much to say...
